Privacy policy
Abirs Academy is managed by Sakib. Last updated 13 October 2026.
Who to contact
Sakib manages Abirs Academy at abirsacademy.com. For privacy questions, access, corrections or deletion requests, email 001abirai@gmail.com. Never send passwords or verification codes.
Account and learning information
Clerk manages registration, authentication and sessions. Google sign-in supplies basic identity information through Clerk: an account identifier, email address and available profile details such as name and profile picture. Our sign-in permissions do not request Gmail messages, Drive files, contacts or calendars. We do not receive your Google password.
The application stores your account identifier, preferences and learning information you choose to save: progress, notes, bookmarks, flashcards, review history, study dates, quiz answers and results. We use these records to provide your learning tools, sync your progress and respond to support requests.
Service providers and security
Clerk provides authentication. Cloudflare hosts the website and API and stores application records in D1. Google authenticates your Google account if you choose that sign-in method. Providers may process information outside your country.
HTTPS protects information in transit. Protected API requests require authentication and account-level authorization. Providers also process technical request and security information needed to deliver and protect their services. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Optional profile details
You can choose a display name, private username label, short bio, profile colour and optional social or website links. These application details are saved with your preferences, are not listed in a public directory and can be cleared in the profile editor. Adding a social link does not connect that account. Profile photos are managed through Clerk; an image URL may be accessible to anyone who has the link, so do not upload sensitive images.
No marketing export
We do not export student details to marketing spreadsheets, sell Google user information, use it for targeted advertising or use it to train general-purpose AI models. Signing in does not subscribe you to marketing.
Sprig assistant and AI requests
Recognized menu commands and existing-question practice setup run without an AI model. When Cloudflare AI is enabled, broader signed-in chat requests send your message and up to four recent messages to Cloudflare Workers AI. A PDF question-generation request sends only the editable page excerpt shown before you select the generation button, not the PDF file, private notes, profile or login credentials. Do not put personal or confidential details in a request.
Chat and generated PDF questions are held in browser memory for the current visit and are not stored as chat records in D1 or R2. Refreshing, changing accounts or leaving the reader can clear them. Server request logs do not include prompt or response content. Pseudonymous daily usage counters help prevent abuse and excess AI usage; inactive counters are cleared by scheduled cleanup after roughly a week. Cloudflare processes submitted content to provide its AI service. AI drafts can be inaccurate; review them against your source. Choosing to start a normal practice session saves the usual account-owned practice record.
Browser storage and PDF files
Browser storage remembers preferences and local preview state. Clerk uses its session mechanisms for sign-in. PDF reading, compression and export run in your browser. When cloud saving is enabled and you are signed in, opening a local PDF prepares a compressed temporary copy in private Cloudflare R2 storage. Choose Save to profile to keep that copy. Your annotations, notes, bookmarks and reading position are stored separately in D1 and are accessible through your account. Academy PDFs reuse the existing Academy file; your private notes are saved separately.
Replacing a document or leaving the reader requests removal of an unsaved temporary copy. If the browser cannot deliver that request, temporary copies expire after 24 hours and scheduled cleanup removes them. Cleanup may take longer during service outages and is retried. Saved readings remain until you remove them or your account is deleted. The reader shows whether cloud saving is available and whether your work has been saved. Keep downloaded copies of important work. Compact copies trade image quality and selectable text for size; the original file on your device is untouched.
Deletion and retention
Learning records are kept to support your account. Resetting learning progress removes the supported learning records but leaves your preferences and account intact. Account deletion through Clerk blocks access. You can also request deletion by emailing 001abirai@gmail.com.
Application cleanup removes saved learning records and preferences and schedules stored document removal. File cleanup is retried if a service is unavailable. Minimal account identifiers and webhook receipts remain for access revocation and reliable event processing; these are not anonymous records. Historical records and provider backups may need separate handling, so this is not a promise that every copy disappears immediately. Contact us for the status and scope of your erasure request.
Young learners
Children and their guardians can contact 001abirai@gmail.com about privacy or removal of information. Google sign-in and email verification do not verify a learner’s age or parental permission. A verified guardian-consent flow is not currently available; contact us before setting up an account for a child who requires parental authorization. This notice does not replace that authorization.
Changes
Changes to our practices will be reflected here with an updated date. We will explain material changes to the use of Google user information before introducing that new use.
